Smaller Ball Mills are constructed with separate trunnions; larger diameter mills have trunnions cast integral with the heads. Separate trunnions are attached to the heads with bolted flanges for male and fit. Flanges are faced and counter bored. All trunnions are cast of Meehanite metal, turned and carefully polished.
